MoneyBot Academy is designed for financial-literacy and business education. We believe children’s information should be minimized and protected. This policy describes the categories of information the service may process and the controls intended for families.

Information we may process

Depending on the features used, information may include account identifiers, age or age range, parent or guardian contact information, learning progress, quiz results, virtual rewards, saved preferences, team invitations, safety reports, and messages permitted by the platform. Technical systems may also process device or persistent identifiers necessary for security, authentication, and service operation.

Children under 13

Where COPPA applies, MoneyBot Academy must provide parents appropriate notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from a child under 13 unless a legal exception applies. The service should not condition participation on providing more information than reasonably necessary.

How information is used

Information may be used to operate accounts, personalize age-appropriate lessons, save progress, provide safety features, respond to family requests, secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve educational functionality. Children’s personal information should not be used for behavioral advertising.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by vendors that provide infrastructure, authentication, AI, security, analytics, communications, or other functionality necessary to operate MoneyBot. Providers handling children’s information should be assessed for appropriate confidentiality, security, and legal obligations. We do not sell children’s personal information.

Parent rights

Where applicable, a parent or guardian may request access to a child’s personal information, request deletion, refuse further collection or use, and withdraw consent. Identity or parental authority may need to be verified before fulfilling a request.

Data minimization and retention

MoneyBot should collect only information reasonably necessary for the educational feature being used. Children’s personal information should be retained only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law, then securely deleted.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

New York minors

For covered users in New York, MoneyBot Academy intends to process data consistently with applicable requirements of the New York Child Data Protection Act and other applicable law.

Operator and privacy contact

Required before public legal launch: insert the legal operator name, mailing address, telephone number, privacy email, and the names or categories of other operators collecting or maintaining children’s personal information. These details must reflect the actual production system and vendors.

Changes

Material changes to practices involving children’s personal information may require updated notice and, where legally required, renewed parental consent.
